Player Warp Rules

Effective Date: 15st October 2026

Players are entitled to create their own Player Warps ("Pwarps") provided they comply with the rules below.

To prevent joke, misleading, or low-effort Pwarps from being created, all Pwarps must comply with both the All Pwarp Rules and any rules applicable to their chosen category. Failure to comply may result in the Pwarp being removed.

Pwarps removed for breaking these rules will NOT be refunded.

Staff conduct regular reviews of all Pwarps. Pwarps found to be in breach of these rules may be removed without warning.

Pwarp Categories

Every Pwarp must be assigned to one of the following categories:

  • Generic
  • Shops
  • Grinders
  • Towns
  • Events

A category can be assigned using:

/pw category set [PwarpName] [Category]

Example:

/pw category set ExampleShop Shops

Uncategorised Pwarps may be removed during review.

Players are responsible for ensuring their Pwarp remains correctly categorised at all times.

Pwarp Creation Fees

The cost of creating a Pwarp increases for each Pwarp a player owns.

Formula: $7,000 + (3,000 × ((n)+1)^((n)+1))

Where n is the number of Pwarps you currently own.

Current prices:

  • 1st Pwarp: $10,000
  • 2nd Pwarp: $19,000
  • 3rd Pwarp: $34,000
  • 4th Pwarp: $55,000
  • 5th Pwarp: $82,000

Any Pwarp removed for breaching these rules will NOT be refunded.

All Pwarp Rules

Ownership

Each Pwarp must have one designated owner who is responsible for ensuring it complies with all applicable rules.

Safety

Pwarps must not place players in immediate danger.

Any hazards that may result in player death, including but not limited to:

  • Hostile mobs
  • Damage traps
  • Redstone games
  • Potion effects

must be clearly signposted with appropriate warnings.

Duplicate Pwarps

Two or more Pwarps may not lead to the same location.

If multiple Pwarps lead to substantially the same location, all but the oldest Pwarp may be removed.

Accurate Warp Locations

Pwarps must not be excessively far away from the feature they advertise.

Players should be able to easily locate the advertised attraction, shop, grinder, town, or event shortly after arriving at the Pwarp.

Hybrid Pwarps

Some Pwarps may fit into multiple categories.

For example, a Shop-Grinder must comply with both the Shop Pwarp Rules and the Grinder Pwarp Rules, even if only one category is selected.

A Pwarp that breaches any applicable category rules may be removed.

Generic Pwarp Rules

Generic Pwarps must provide a community attraction or point of interest that does not better fit another category.

Examples include:

  • Museums
  • Historical displays
  • OGCraft lore exhibits
  • Interactive redstone creations
  • Community attractions
  • Public minigames

Requirements

  1. The Pwarp must contain a clearly identifiable attraction or point of interest.

  2. Any minigame must clearly explain:

    • How to play
    • The rules
    • Any relevant objectives or win conditions
  3. Generic Pwarps may not primarily function as Shops, Grinders, Towns, or Events.

Shop Pwarp Rules

Part A: Individual Shops

Minimum Distinct Item Requirement

A Shop Pwarp must contain at least 10 distinct items.

Examples:

  • White wool sold as 16 for $19 and 32 for $30 counts as one distinct item.
  • Two different banner designs count as two distinct items, even if they share the same base banner.

Stock Requirement

If 50% or more of a shop's inventory is out of stock, a 7-day removal timer begins.

If you have buy chests, as in you are buying from players, and your balance means you cannot purchase those items, or the chests fill up and therefore cannot purchase those items, those shops are deemed "out of stock"

If you have sell chests, as in you are selling to players, and your chests empty and therefore cannot make that purchase, those are deemed "out of stock"

Donation Boxes

Donation boxes do not count towards the minimum item requirement.

Examples include:

  • $10,000 for 1 stick
  • $5,000 for 1 dirt block

These are considered donations rather than participation in the server economy.

Part B: Shopping Malls

Central Hub

The Pwarp location must teleport players to a central hub that clearly displays:

  • Shops within the mall
  • Shop owners
  • Directions to individual shops

Minimum Occupancy

The mall must contain at least 3 individual shop owners, excluding the mall owner.

Separate Shop Claims

Individual shops MUST be subclaimed so trust can be managed independently.

Shops may not be positioned in a manner that prevents separate ownership and trust management.

Compliance

All shops within the mall must comply with the Individual Shop Rules.

It is the mall owner's responsibility to ensure compliance.

Unsafe Shops

If a shop causes the mall to become unsafe or breach these rules, the mall Pwarp may be removed.

Grinder Pwarp Rules

We recognise that Grinder Pwarps contain hostile mobs. However, player safety remains a priority.

Safe Arrival

Players must arrive in a safe area.

There must be no reasonable possibility of immediate death upon teleporting.

Dedicated Grinding Areas

Any dangerous or combat-related activity must take place within clearly designated grinding areas.

Capacity Requirement

A Grinder Pwarp must provide public access equivalent to at least 10 spawners' worth of grinding capacity.

This requirement may be fulfilled across multiple grinder setups.

Town Pwarp Rules

A Town must have one designated Mayor.

The Mayor is responsible for maintaining the town and ensuring it remains compliant.

Town Hall

The Pwarp location must teleport players to a Town Hall or central welcome area.

This area should display:

  • Town information
  • Resident list
  • Any relevant town rules

Minimum Population

The town must contain at least 3 residents, excluding the Mayor.

The Mayor may reside in the town but does not count towards this requirement.

Separate Residence Claims

Individual homes and bases MUST be subclaimed so trust may be managed separately for each resident.

Homes may not be arranged in a manner that prevents separate ownership and trust management.

Town Safety

The Mayor is responsible for maintaining a safe town environment.

Excessive hostile mob spawning, dangerous public areas, or neglected infrastructure may result in review or removal of the Pwarp.

Mayor Inactivity

If a Mayor permanently leaves, becomes inactive, or abandons the town, staff may:

  • Transfer recognition to a new Mayor
  • Require a replacement Mayor to be appointed
  • Remove the Town Pwarp

These decisions are at staff discretion.

Event Pwarp Rules

Purpose

Event Pwarps must lead to a functioning public activity, event, challenge, or minigame.

Safe Arrival

Players must arrive in a safe location.

Any risks associated with the event must be clearly communicated.

Public Accessibility

Events must be accessible to the public and function as advertised.

Information

Where applicable, event rules and instructions should be clearly displayed.

Maintenance

Broken, inaccessible, abandoned, or permanently inactive Event Pwarps may be removed during review.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in Pwarp removal. Any Pwarp removed for rule violations will NOT be refunded.
